What is Smart QR?
Smart QR is a QR payment platform that connects Banks and Financial Institutions (BFIs) and Payment Service Providers (PSPs) in an interoperable network to facilitate digital payments for merchants and customers.
Is Smart QR a wallet?
No. Smart QR is not a wallet. It is a payment solution application exclusively designed for the merchants that can accept payments from any members in Smart QR network through a single Smart QR Code.
What can I do with Smart QR?
With Smart QR, merchants can receive payments from customers using one single Smart QR Code that can accept payments from multiple banks and wallet applications.
Who can use Smart QR?
Anyone with a business that has a valid Citizenship or Registered Business under Local Law can use Smart QR to accept payments from customers using Smart QR Code.
Why should I use Smart QR? What are its key features?
With Smart QR, merchants can get benefitted through the following features:
a. Free Registration
b. Scan and share your QR to receive the payments
c. Transfer funds to Bank account directly
d. Transfer funds to wallet
e. Perform Refunds and Void transaction
Is Smart QR Free of cost?
Smart QR is absolutely Free. There is no charge for registrations.
How do I become Smart QR Merchant?
Download Smart QR application from PlayStore/AppStore from and follow the steps as required to become a Smart QR Merchant.
What is my Login Password?
Your Login password is your unique password used for authentication during the login process. The password must contain at least 1 capital letter, 1 special character, at least 1 digit, password length with 8 to 15 characters.
If the transaction fails or fund is not transferred but the account has been debited, where do I contact?
Please contact Smart QR Hotline number 16600144155 . You can also contact us at +977-4414166, 4414211, 4414155 or Mobile number 9860923979). The transaction will be reversed automatically if the problem is due to the system failure.
Can I check my transaction history in the Smart QR application?
YES. You can view your transaction history through the “History” menu in the Smart QR application itself. Also, the Refund and Void transaction history can also be viewed under the same menu. Additionally, the transaction history can also be downloaded in pdf format.
How do I know that I have received the payment from customers?
Merchants as well as customers will be notified with a transaction alert once the payment is processed and successful.
Do merchants have Loyalty points in Smart QR?
Yes. Merchant will be rewarded with 100 Loyalty points immediately after Activation. Also, for every sucessful transaction, the merchant will get 5 Loyalty Points.
How can I change my registered mobile number in Smart QR ?
Merchants can contact their respective Smart QR Members to update their mobile number.
Can I add multiple mobile number in Smart QR?
Yes. Smart QR allows two numbes to be registered per merchant. One as a registered number and another as a secondary number.
Can I download Smart QR Code in Smart QR application?
Yes. Merchant can download Smart QR Code from "My Code" menu by logging in to Smart QR application.
How can I raise a request for a Smart QR Code Standee?
Merchants need to contact their respective Smart QR Members for the delivery of Smart QR Merchant Standee.
How can I return amount to customer if they claims the partial repayment of the transaction?
Merchants can initiate "Refund" option and enter the amount for partial repayment after logging in to Smart QR merchant application.
How can I return amount to customer if they claims full repayment of the transaction?
Merchants can initiate "Void" option and provide full repayment of the transaction to customer by logging in to Smart QR Merchant application.
Can a customer claim for a VOID transaction anytime?
Customers can claim for a VOID transaction only within 24 hours time frame.
What if I do not have money in Smart QR wallet to initiate Refund/Void?
In such cases, merchants need to provide physical refund/void transactions.
